‘Aim High’

WW1 Commemorations

On behalf of Clive Parish Council, I would like to pass on the Council's sincerest thanks for the school's involvement in commemorating the Centenary of the WW1 Armistice. It was a truly lovely idea for the school children and staff to plant the 100 daffodils outside the school as a way of remembering those who lost their lives during the war, and it will remain a touching tribute for many years to come.

Thank you also for arranging the ‘footprints’ showing the names of the servicemen from Clive who went to war. The children’s designs were wonderful, and added to the display in Renshaw’s Field.

Thank you again to all the staff and children who were involved.

 Kind Regards,

 Lydia Bardsley

Clerk to Clive Parish Council
