‘Aim High’

Number Day

On Friday 4th February we held our Number Day to raise money for the NSPCC, who we all know are a charity to support and help children in all sorts of ways. The day also raised the profile of Maths in our school.

We dressed up as our TT Rockstar or our favourite Numberblock and we found lots of fun ways of developing our number skills over the day. We played a range of dice games (some involved biscuits!), number puzzles, bingo and addition, subtraction and multiplication games. Hedgehog Class used their number skills for weighing, using different scales and ratios in their baking to make Number Cakes. We also listened to Number stories and songs.

We raised £83.64 for the NSPCC and had a brilliant day!
