Dormouse class week beginning 8th December

Hello everyone

We are nearing the end of term and working hard practising our Nativity performance. All of the children have been learning songs or any lines to say and we look forward to you joining us.

On Monday afternoon next week we have our project afternoon, when parents are invited to come in and look at the whole school's projects. This is the first time that Dormouse class have taken part and we are excited to host parents.

Next week, our story is On the Way Home. We will be exploring our imagination to think about the journey that the little girl takes and will begin to think of our own story. 

In phonics, Nursery will be thinking about memory games to build our memory. Reception are concentrating on tricky words to learn and embed these.

In maths, Nursery are learning the rhyme The bear went over the mountain. We will be focusing on position language, whilst Reception will be learning about shapes, their names and properties.
