Week Beginning 15th December

As we move into our final week of the term, can I say what a lovely term we have had. All of the children have risen to the challenges set for them and we will start a well deserved Christmas holiday. In the meantime, we have a number of events happening next week. 

On Monday, we will explore our story for the week, Sssh!, following Santa's journey. We will also be reading Stickman and thinking about the journey that he takes until he finally meets Santa. On Monday afternoon, we will be at church to watch the school performance.

On Tuesday, we will be having our Christmas dinner. Children are invited to wear their Christmas jumper. On Wednesday, we have our own Christmas performance both in the morning and the afternoon.

On Thursday, we have Christmas party afternoon when we will have a fun session, watch Stickman and play party games.

On Friday, we will join with school in the afternoon for our Christmas service in church. 

Throughout the week, we are learning about expressive language and how we can describe pictures and reception will continue to learn their tricky words.
