Week Beginning 16th June

This week, we have really enjoyed reading more of our Lighthouse Keeper's Stories. What adventures they get up to. Our theme of Water continues next week by exploring the life cycle of a frog. We are fortunate to have frogs in our garden pond and so have been able to see first hand how they change. We will begin to record these changes through pictures and words. 

In phonics, nursery are exploring the sound f as in frog. We will be making alliterative sentences. Reception will be word building using phase 3 phonics. 

In maths, nursery will be using vocabulary to compare amounts. Reception will be building skills in counting.

On Monday, all classes will be celebrating Trinity Journey Day. Dormouse class will be exploring creation, in particular, water creation. 

On Thursday, we have our Careers Day. We will be exploring different jobs and why we have different jobs.
