‘Aim High’

Week Beginning 19th May

Date: 15th May 2025 @ 5:57pm

The weather has been sunny and so we have made the most of getting out on to the garden to plant our beans. If you are passing the garden on your way home, please feel free to go in and look at them. They will love to be watered too. The tank in the corner has a plentiful supply of water and watering cans are nearby.

Next week, we are looking at a different body of water in the story - Shark in the Park. There are many opportunities for rhyming in this book and so we will be making the most of these. Reception will also be phoneme spotters using highlighter pens to find the phoneme. We continue to work on writing our phase 3 sounds in sentences.

In maths, reception are going to be making their own track games and nursery are learning about shapes, naming them and talking about their properties.

We have our Neurodiversity Day on Wednesday and Dormouse class will be working with our older friends in school.

Have a lovely weekend.
