Week Beginning 28th September

We have had another incredible week, particularly working on our listening skills and concentration. We have also worked on recognising our phonics and subitising. Thank you for your continued input at home. It is very much appreciated. 

Next week, our book for the week is Picnic in the Park, focusing on different families. In phonics, Nursery are learning the rhyme Incey Wincey Spider, whilst Reception are beginning to learn g o c k sounds and composing sentences about our book Out in town. 

In maths, Nursery are comparing lengths, in particular the lengths of spiders legs made from playdough and different lengths of drainpipe. Reception are using the vocabulary more than and fewer than. 

Next week, we are also learning about trees and comparing trees in different seasons.
