We have had another busy week and enjoyed welcoming Clive toddler group to Dormouse class on Friday.
Next week we will be learning about the story of the three little pigs. Our focus will be on the materials that they used and the materials that are in and around our own houses and school. We will be naming different materials and talking about what they are used for.
In phonics, Nursery are learning about alliteration and will be thinking of words to describe the different characters in the story - pink pig, wiggly wolf. Reception will be learning to read and write the sounds ch sh th and ng.
In maths, Nursery are learning about shapes and using them to make pictures of buildings. Reception will be learning about more than and fewer than and using this to describe different groups of objects. We will also be learning about the word equal.
