Week Beginning 2nd June

We are in June already and the community garden is bursting with life. This week, we will be celebrating Water Week, learning how to conserve water and making sure that our plants get the water that they need to grow.

Our book this week is The journey which tells the story of the journey of water. As the boat travels down the river, we will be learning new geographical words to describe its journey and making our own boats to test on water. 

Nursery this week are having a particular focus on writing their names and Reception are focusing on writing short captions to describe pictures from our book.

In maths we are consolidating our learning - counting amounts and combining groups of objects and learning positional language. 

We are looking forward to our first day back after half term.
