World book day!

We had a fantastic day celebrating world book day on Thursday. It was lovely to see the children dressed in such a variety of costumes, sharing their love of reading and particular favourite stories. We spent the morning sharing some stories, talking about the characters that we were dressed as and creating our own vegetable superheroes linked to the story "supertato." In the afternoon we created our own bookmarks and had them specially laminated! At the end of the day we were joined by Hedgehog class in some paired reading. It was so lovely to hear the children discussing the book that they were reading so animatedly! What a superb day.
