‘Aim High’

Careers Day

Class: Dormouse Class Year: 2024 - 2025

Today, in Dormouse class, we have been learning about careers. We talked about the job that we would like to do when we are older and why we have jobs. We had some great ideas. We thought about jobs that help other people and working to earn money. We then worked to earn our own money. We went to our school garden and picked raspberries. We sold these to people in school - a penny each raspberry. We then thought about what we would spend the money on. We talked about things that we needed and things that we wanted. We used our coins to buy our dinner and thought about how we would spend the money left over. Some children said to save it for the next day and some children said that they would like to buy another Lighthouse Keeper book for the class. We have had a fantastic day. Well done Dormouse class.
